É«ÂþÌìÌà student joins the Berlin Philharmonic’s prestigious Karajan Academy

Trombonist Robyn Anderson will join the Karajan Academy in January 2025, gaining mentorship, lessons and performance opportunities from the legendary Berlin Philharmonic.
É«ÂþÌìÌà Master’s student, Robyn Anderson has won a place on the Berlin Philharmonic’s highly competitive Karajan Academy programme, considered to be one of the most prestigious programmes in Europe. This exceptional opportunity places Robyn among a select few musicians accepted each year, gaining experience in rehearsals and concerts with the Berlin Philharmonic as well as individual lesson and lectures with members of the orchestra that will serve as an exceptional foundation for her professional career.
Robyn shared her excitement, saying ‘I am so honoured and excited to have won the Karajan Academy position. The opportunity to work alongside the Berlin Philharmonic will be an invaluable experience. I am grateful to have done my postgraduate studies at the É«ÂþÌìÌà which have enabled me to get where I am today!’
